There are six categories of chips available, covering a wide range of prices — including some extremely rare ones. I don’t plan on turning this into a business, though. It’s a lot of work, it can be disappointing (some chips simply sound terrible), and there are extra costs such as tariffs, duties, and taxes — especially when dealing with defective or underperforming chips.
These chips come from years of collecting, along with a few generous donations. All faulty chips have already been discarded, so you can feel confident that what you receive will perform as expected.
For the first power-up of the TD1, I strongly recommend starting with inexpensive chips to avoid disappointment. . Feel free to watch my You-Tube Video for more details.
How to Order
Send me an email (see the Contact section) with:
The chip category (for example: “Very Good”)
The chip number you’d like (for example: HSH8942)
Your full name, address, and phone number
Prices are in USD (or the equivalent).
Shipping costs vary by location, usually between $18 and $30. I only ship to countries with reliable postal services.
If you’re buying an expensive chip, I strongly suggest adding a test chip as well. All chips come with a socket — please leave it on for easy swapping and testing. Use a small flat screwdriver to gently separate the socket when changing chips.
Chips will be marked “sold” or “pending” as they go, so there’s no need to ask if one is still available.
Please note: The difference between “Very Good” and “Ultimate” is often quite small. In many systems, it may be difficult — or impossible — to hear unless your setup is extremely revealing.

Good US$125 each JSS9721 Sold
I ordered these chips from various sources, always on the hunt for high-quality components. I had high hopes , expecting them to perform exceptionally well like some others. However, they turned out to be just good. They work and sound decent, but for our high audio standards, I’d classify them as "test chips"—the kind you use during setup to avoid heartbreak and tears if something goes wrong and they get damaged. These still sound good simillar to most Ebay chips sold for twice the price🙂

Very Good US$ 200 each
These are Very good sounding chips, each one has been tested for over 24 hours to ensure they work reliably and maintain stable, normal temperatures. Any defective chips were removed and given away.
I’m offering these at a discounted price, with all sales being final. They’re ideal for entry to mid-level projects . A couple of those chips are on Consignment🙂

Very Good Plus US$ 300 each

These are Excellent sounding Chips they have been tested for more then 48h each they work very well have stable and normal Chip temperature. this is a rare batch of great Chips they are very well regarded and sound great.
All sales are Final🙂

Excellent Plus series are US$ 550 each
These chips deliver exceptional sound quality. They were awarded a "G" status, nearly on par with good S1 chips. They come with a 80% money-back guarantee minus US Tariffs for US Buyers, if returned undamaged within 30 days.
The JSS chips were generously donated they are stamped a rare JSS J for Caen France I was told these are rebranded chips and I defenitly can see that, may even be originally non-A chips—but their performance and sound rivals that of authentic A chips. Stored for at least 20 years before counterfeit versions surfaced. Ultimately, it’s the sound that matters, and these chips do not disappoint. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to charitable causes. Currently donating to Save the Children to help support children in need around the world.
I only have a very limited tiny quantity left.
The non JSS Chips were aquired from reliable sources or I pulled them from dead CD Players
. The 3 R chips are exceptional don't let the R scare you ( not all R chips are good they can be lame but not those)

Pair A Ultimate series are US$1800 (As a pair only same batch 8801)
Pair B Ulimate Series are US$1350
Single C $900
Single D $650 SOLD
These chips deliver exceptional sound quality.
Pair A I acquired years ago from reliable sources
Pair B is of the more recent type Year 96 not sure I would give them a double crown they sound close to the S1 single crowns.
Single C is a Double crown Sounds great I am a bit suspicious of the second crown probably added later after a second round of sorting but sure sounds excellent as good if not better than Pair A.
Single D is NOT a S1 or Crown but sounds as good if not better than Pair A, B or C
They come with a 80% money-back guarantee, if returned undamaged within 30 days.
