TDA1541A Chips for Sale
There are four categories of chips available for sale, ranging across different price points, including some extremely rare ones. However, I don’t plan to turn chip-selling into a business—it’s a lot of work, comes with its fair share of disappointments, and involves significant extra costs, especially when accounting for defective or underperforming chips.
These chips come from years of collecting and some generous donations. All faulty chips have been discarded, so you can be confident they’ll perform as expected.
For the initial power-up of the TD1, I strongly recommend to use inexpensive chips to avoid heratbreaks and tears. Feel free to watch my You-Tube Video
How to Order
Send me a email (see contacts section) with the Chip number you want your full name, address and phone number there will be exta chipping varies by your location usually around 12 and 20 $
Prices are in US$ or equivalent. If buying a expensive chip I strongly suggest you buy a test chip as well. All Chips come with a socket please keep it on for easy swap and testing. Use a small flat screw driver to separate sockets and swap chips.
I will mark sold or pending when chips sell so no need to ask if available.

I ordered these chips from various sources, always on the hunt for high-quality components. I had high hopes for the R1 chips, expecting them to perform exceptionally well like some others. However, they turned out to be just okay. They work and sound decent, but for our high audio standards, I’d classify them as "test chips"—the kind you use during setup to avoid heartbreak and tears if something goes wrong and they get damaged. 🙂

These chips were generously donated and the G selection are among the best of the batch. they are stamped a rare JSS J for Caen France I was told these are rebranded chips and I defenitly can see that, may even be originally non-A chips—but their performance and sound rivals that of authentic A chips. Stored for at least 20 years before counterfeit versions surfaced. Ultimately, it’s the sound that matters, and these chips do not disappoint. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to charitable causes. Currently donating to Save the Children to help support children in need around the world.
