Important Read before Powering your Board
and Connecting to your Amp
  • All power supplies must be Temporarily fused with a 100 Milliamp fuses, with no Grounded negative. If Using UCPures Change the Fuses to 100 Milliamp
a PSU with a negative connected to ground  will cause shorts and issues.

  • Check soldering for over spills shorting 2 adj pads can possibly short power

  • Check for missing solder joints

  • Test all UFL Connectors + and - and test for shorts as well

  • Test power supply 5v and 15v leads with a Ohm meter for shorts

  • Connect to a cheap Amp/speaker setup first to avoid distroying your system

  • Run the streamer, play a song then power the board and then Adj DC offset

  • Turn Volume down prior to powering Dac

  • Set Monitor Pi pro to FIFO continious clock if possible

  • If using Ian's I2s to PCM converter make sure Jumper is set to JOB.

  • Make sure you have the correct Voltage to avoid under voltage humm.

  • Make sure all wiring and setup follows your Local safety guidelines.

Important Read before Building your Board

  • Make sure to Download The BOM from the Email link sent to you
this is saparate from the mouser list (could be in the spam folder)

  • Solder Bottom Parts First

  • Solder Opa 861 before surrounding parts. Watch for dot (Pin1)

  • Tantalum Caps are polarized wider end is -  Circle on PCB is -

  • Make sure to watch and Fix C27 + pad error Video

  • The soldering iron tip must be smaller than the pad.

  • Use flux, especially on difficult and small pads.

  • Measure each resistor, open 1 pack at a time to avoid mixup

  • Use color coded wires to avoid catastrophic reversed polarity

  • Watch videos specially how to solder small Components one

  • Watch for shorting Adj pads like Tantalum caps and Resistors

  • Use visual inspection and a magnifier to check all joints.

  • Do not heat the support pins of the RCA connectors for more then 5s as they will overheat and rise. Heat the board pad not the pin. If that happens, heat and push it down.
